whd2018 Hi everyone, I have a relatively new install of ATUM on a new site and on testing the Purchase Order feature I notice that after creating a PO for say 5 qty of an item the Inbound Stock shows the 5 items on order, however when the PO is marked complete the 5 items do not get added to the inventory. The Inbound stock reverts to its original state but the product inventory does not increase. I can manually in it from Stock Central but not from the PO. Any thoughts on things I should look at? Thanks in advance.
Forum_Admin Hi whd2018 , Thank you very much for your post. That is correct, this is how WooCommerce handles manual orders and we have build the POs the same way. When you receive all the items, simply click on the product in the PO to select it and press the add to stock button. Hope this helps. Pavel
whd2018 Thanks for your re Forum_Admin . I must have a separate issue as I have no "Add to Stock" button. I have a PO marked as competed but no where withing the PO is a button to add to stock. The only thing I have at the base of the PO is "These purchase order items are no longer editable. "
whd2018 Hi Forum_Admin No where do I get an option to Add to Stock. When the PO Is pending there is no option and when the PO is complete there is no option. Is there a setting that may have disabled this button? Thanks
Forum_Admin Hi whd2018 , You never waste our time. We are here for you and appreciate your interest in ATUM. Thank you and enjoy. Pavel
laughingbuddha Has this changed? The documentation suggests that changing to completed updates the current stock levels automatically now. Is there a way to update stock levels per product as this thread suggests? Thanks, Dom
Salva Hi laughingbuddha This thread is very old (October 2018). This has changed since WooCommerce started to do so for Orders (I think to remember since WC version 3.5). So the stock increases automatically when you complete the PO. In the other side, the Inventory Logs still work manually (you have to increase/decrease the stocks, if needed, using the corresponding buttons). Best Regards, Salva.
laughingbuddha Ok thanks Salva. By the way when the purchase order is completed does it transfer all inbound stock to current stock, or does it consider reserved stock as well?
laughingbuddha Ok but how is it distributed? Do you distribute as you complete the purchase order or is it through inventory logs after the PO is completed? Thanks, Dom
Forum_Admin You will have a fully functional PO completion wizard. Inventory Logs play no role. Pavel
laughingbuddha Are you talking about the PO extension in development? I don't see a PO completion wizard in the interface as yet. Thanks, Dom
Salva laughingbuddha Yes, that will be part of the future PO Premium add-on. Actually, when you complete a PO, all the inbound stock within that order is automatically moved to the current stock (increasing it) as you've correctly said. Just test it out to better understand how it works 😉 Best Regards, Salva.
laughingbuddha Ok. Is there a beta version to test yet or if not, when will it be available? Also, will it be possible when a PO is completed, to move some inbound stock to reserved stock and some to current stock? Thanks
Salva Hi laughingbuddha Ok. Is there a beta version to test yet or if not, when will it be available? There is no beta yet and don't have a date for now as this will be released together with 3 more add-ons (all of them related). All of them should be ready before the end of this year. Also, will it be possible when a PO is completed, to move some inbound stock to reserved stock and some to current stock? Yes, it'll be possible 😉 Best Regards, Salva.
