Hi,
Just found this plugin. Looks great, well supported, just what I'm after. Happy to buy. Pre-sales query.
Run print-on-demand business.
At the product level is the design.
Variations are mugs, beer glass, travel mug, camping mug, etc.
The reality of this type of business, if you think about it, is that there is no 'real stock'. You never really have inventory. You just have raw materials that are used 'as and when' required.
So, the "Bill Of Material Stock Control" that you mention in another post is a function that most print-on-demand business scenarios can, and will use, because it complements the 'true reality'. Brilliant stuff.
So, if I understand this correctly, consider the following scenario ....
I have 35 products designs.
Each product has a variation e.g. green mug (of course there are other product variations too)
I have 20 green mugs in stock that I add as a raw material to all variations of green mug across the products.
If I sell a green mug variation of one of the product designs ... then the stock level of all green mug variations across all products drops by 1 ... all green mug variations now show a stock level of 19.
This is what I require ... and I can see others do too. I'm ready to buy this.
Can you clarify that this is what will happen with "Bill Of Material Stock Control" in the upcoming release?
Can you clarify when this release is due please?
Many Thanks
Regards Mark
