Product Parts Copy and Past to Variation

Hello!
It would be a big time saver to have a copy and past function for variable products that have similar Product Parts. For example, I have products that have different length screws. Rather than having to manually add all Product Parts for each variation, it would be nice to copy and past all the same Product Parts used and then just add the different length screw as needed. Thanks!

No, sorry.

However, you can duplicate a variable product with linked BOMs. All the ATUM info will also be copied. Maybe this would suit part of your needs?

japiera Can you explain to me how to duplicate a variable product? I am using a duplication plugin and none of the ATUM information copies over.

WooCommerce already includes a duplicate utility. ATUM code hooks into it during the process and duplicates its info. Why are you using a third-party plugin?

japiera I was unaware of the built in duplication feature. I think this might be a legacy plugin in our system. I'll see if I can get this working right on our end. Thanks!

japiera I need to duplicate variations, not whole individual products. I don't think that feature is built into Woocommerce and the plugin I use, https://wordpress.org/plugins/variation-duplicator-for-woocommerce/, doesn't transfer the product parts.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough in my previous post.

The WooCommerce duplication utility only allows duplicating entire products. I thought it could work for you. If it doesn't, apologies for that.

As I said, there is no news about this feature. We don't have an ETA for it, sorry.
