Stock update seems to skip stock adjustment

Hi there,

Recently I have been switched to ATUM to manage my stock.
However, when trying to save multiple stock increases, it seems that some products are being kept and some are not. The stock quantity stays red (not sure this is normal) after using the Save button on top on the products that are saved and skipped.

Some info that might be useful to know:
We have WPML Enabled and around 1400 products hosted on Kinsta.
Products

Saving the stock takes a long while, is this done in batches or directly?
And is a premium version of the plugin better in this?
Cause I do want the action logs again (had it before) to check stock logs.

Mmm. That's very weird...
It's normal that the cells you change are in red until you save but, after hitting the save button, the table should reload and the editable cells should return to blue.
Are you using some kind of caching that could interfere with this?
Do you have any errors in the browser's console after saving?

ATUM is fully compatible with WPML, so it shouldn't be a problem...

It saves all the edited cells at once through an Ajax call.
Kinsta is good hosting, so it should be fast. You can ask them about this

The premium add-ons add extra functionalities to ATUM but not extra performance. You can read about them here:

Hi there Salva,

Thank you for your reply.
It seems that the stock does update however this seems to happen later (after the stock update it takes roughly 30min for the stock to be updated.
I asked Kinsta about this and they say that their caching should not interfere with the stock part.
What I do see after the stock update is a 504 error in the console:
"Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 504 ()"
Is there a way to fix this issue?

Sincerely, I don't know what could be causing something like that. We have a CRON job that runs every day at midnight but this is only to adjust outdated calculated props and is not used for this.
ATUM saves props from Stock Central in real-time...
So, I suspect there is something interfering with this.

You can try to disable all your plugins except WooCommerce and ATUM and also switch to any default theme and try that way in order to find any possible conflict with a 3rd party plugin or theme.

And, additionally, you can clone your site to another hosting (or locally) without any kind of cache to completely discard that.

Hi there Salva,

Previously I used Bulk Stock Management, but since we moved to do our inventory management with ATUM (because the old one may have caused inventory differences and since ATUM has Action logs I switched), increasing stock takes an extremely long time. As a result, it causes the website to freeze during that period.
What I don't understand is why? Why does that take so much time in comparison to the Bulk Stock. Could this be due Ajax refreshing instead of the page reload that Bulk Stock is using?

Could you perhaps take a look at the our test environment?

Things I tried so far:

Disabling everything except WPML+ATUM+Woocommerce
Disabled cache&cdn plugins+server (Kinsta)

I tried to fix this issue by using Bulk Stock with ATUM and ATUM Action Logs, however this does not seem to log stock changes from Bulk Stock.

I don't know what is causing that in your case. We have dozens of testing sites and saving from Stock Central takes no more than 3 seconds in all of them...

Did you ask Kinsta about this weird issue?
Perhaps is related to your specific data or something like that...

Hi Salva,

The issue has been resolved! Tracients were building up in the background quite a bit. DB was doubled in a few months.
One more question, in the Stock Central the column "name" is a bit too short for us, since lots of products start with the same phrase. CSS wise there was not something I could fix this issue.
