Can you sync "Orders" only?

Hi Atum team,

If i am going to switch to using this app for managing my store, i will be frequently refreshing / syncing the Orders. Currently, the sync has to sync everything - comments, store settings, inventories, years of order history etc., which takes a very long time. Will there be a function where i will be able to manually sync only orders, preferably the latest 20 orders only? This would be efficient and save a lot of loading time for my daily management.

I see in the settings, there is a "Programmed Sync" feature that is not yet enabled for use. I am guessing this is for automatically syncing the store from time to time? If so, then my feedback would be the same as above, to add option to background auto sync only orders.

With the ATUM APP you can enable the possibility to just sync concrete lists, for example orders. To enable this option go to ATUM Settings > Store Settings > Sync > Show sync buttons on items lists.

Now if you go to the orders screen, at the bottom right corner you will see a button with three dots. Click on it and you will see the sync button.

Also, we have planned to develop the possibility of selecting the items that you want to sync. For normal sync and automatically.

Said this, automatically sync is a feature that we are developing that will allow to make syncs in the background at the times selected of the items selected.

AndreaRebel Hi Andrea, not sure if I am missing something. When I click on the three dots on orders screen, it syncs the whole store and everything else, instead of just the orders.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reproduce it as for me it works fine.

Please, before keeping investigating, first could you make sure that you have the last update of your ATUM add-ons?

Hi Andrea, the ATUM app is in the latest version. When I click on the 3 dots on order screen, it just starts to sync the whole store.

Note that when you sync orders not only orders are synced. Also the comments, coupons, and customers. If this is not synced, a complete order can't be charged.

Also it will sync the refund but for now this is not available, but it will.

HI Andrea, I am again confused. Are you saying everything need to be synced in order to sync the orders?

I thought you said earlier that it is possible to sync only concrete lists like Orders?

Please, let me take some steps back for explain it better.

The first time t¡you sync your site with the app, is recommended to make a full synchronization. This way you make sure that you will have the same settings, the images of the products, locations... If you don't do that a lot of features related to the orders couldn't be done as will be information missing.

Once you have done the full sync, you can do the sync of just orders, and in this case are also sync the comments, coupons, and customers as they are related items to the orders.
