Okay so if I put in region restrict mode and one region's inventory is out of stock and when I select my region on the prompt, it shows out of stock but I would like it to show the backup inventory or the main inventory instead. How do I do that?

Hi blurflame

You can assign multiple regions to any inventory. So if you want the users from a specific region to have available inventories from the main region and a backup region, just add both to the inventory and put the backup region at the bottom of the product's inventories list.

And there's a UI problem with the prompt. Please watch the attached video

Which version are you using, please?
I believe this was fixed recently.

No the UI is not fixed. I'm using the latest version of the plugin which is: 1.3.8.

Okay so I updated the plugin's latest version and it's still not fixed?

Also I configured my product according to the instructions provided above. So basically as explained earlier we will have multiple stores for different cities/regions so if I go with the region restriction, it asks the user to select their region and update the stock value on the front end but using this approach, if a customer from Islamabad places an order it should route to the Islamabad inventory but it's still routing to Main Inventory. What I want is that for example if we have Main & Islamabad inventories and a customer from Islamabad wants to place an order, the system should lookup the Islamabad inventory first and if it doesn't find it there, then it should be routed to the other concerned inventories.

I hope it makes sense.

Hi @blurflame ,

What you can do is to enable selectable inventories feature. In this way, the user will be able to choose from what inventory wants to get the product, and in this case will be Islamabad.

Regarding to the IU issue, it seems that still persists, but we are working on fixing it.

Where do I configure selectable inventory feature? And is there any way to do it at back end without asking the customer? Like if a customer selects a certain region which is linked to a certain inventory, it should route the order to it at priority before checking other inventories.

Regarding the IU problem, we found the issue and it will be fixed in the next release.

However, I've just thought a setting that maybe suites better for what you want to do: Enable region restriction by zones, choosing manual inventory sorting mode , and configure Islamabad and the other zones, giving priority to Islamabad.
