Hi Salva,
Thanks for your reply and apologies for the delay in responding.
I didn't get a notification, but the client just reminded me to follow up.
This all sounds a bit too much of a manual process.
If it requires a day to day interaction, the client could probably do that without a plugin.
Say I had "Item A" and "Item B" and "Store A" and "Store B".
Store A - Stock....
Item A = 1
Item B = 2
Store B - Stock...
Item A = 2
Item B = 1
Lets say Store A is my closest.
If I try and make the following order, I won't be able to.
Item A = 2
Item B = 1
I would expect a typical website to tell me the issue with my order is that there isn't enough stock for "Item A" at my chosen Store. Even better, it will tell me Store B has it in stock.
I could then consider removing "Item A" from my basket and continuing with my order.
I would expect a multi store inventory plugin to offer similar functionality.
If this plugin does offer similar functionality, I can't see why Store A can't be say Friday and Store B Saturday etc.
E,g. You can't place your order, because we've ran out of "Item A" for Friday. We do have it available for Saturday though.
The explanation above suggests that the plugin only allows purchases from 1 store and once that store has ran out of stock, customers won't be able to purchase from the other stores until they are manually dragged to the top within the admin area. I'm hoping I've misunderstood or perhaps didn't explain myself well in the first message.
Regards,
Kirk
