Hi noman6999 ,
Thanks for your post.
Can you tell me how have you set your variable and variation product stock fields. I mean:
- Have you checked the checkbox "manage stock" and the stock quantity at variable product level?
- Have you checked the checkbox "manage stock" and the stock quantity in all variation products?
I'm going to try to explain what it means to check each of the options:
When you check "manage stock" at variable level and fill the "stock quantity" field, you're telling WooCommerce that that quantity is for variations with the "manage stock" option unchecked, so for "non-managed" variations, WooCommerce allows buy up to that qty.
When you check "manage stock" at variation level and fill the "stock quantity" field, you're telling WooCommerce that that variation has that stock and it doesn't care about the parent's stock.
So Stock Central is adding up the stock set in the "managed" variations plus the "stock" set in the variable product (that will be used for the "non-managed" variations).
Bearing this in mind, the sum is correct, and Stock Central is working properly.
Then you should decide between managing stock at variable or variation level and then fill the stock in the proper place.
I hope I've made myself clear, and I apologize if I haven't.
Best Regards,
José Andrés
