ATUM and Bundle products

Hello ATUM team,

We use ATUM with Product Levels (and Multi-Inventory). Your documentation states that Product Bundles are fully supported, but we've hit a limitation and would like to know if it's a bug, a missing setting, or a roadmap item.

Our case: we pre-assemble gift boxes (built as Product Bundles) and keep them in stock. We need to record production as a single action — increase the finished bundle's stock and, at the same time, reduce the stock of the products it contains (which then reduces their raw materials through their BOMs).

For simple products this is straightforward: Just click on green button id product detail and reduce stock directly (BOMs included). For bundle products we can't find the equivalent "produce" action button :-(

Questions:

Is stocking / producing a bundle product (finished bundle +, contents −) possible today? If yes, how?
If not, is this a bug, or is it planned for a future release?

We'd really appreciate clarity, since the documentation presents bundle support as complete. Thank you for your help.

ATUM is compatible with WooCommerce Product Bundles, but that does not mean that you can link BOMs to a bundle.
What you can do is link BOMs to all bundle items individually.
And you can use the produce button across all your bundle items.

As I have already tried to explain to you in all your other tickets regarding this question, we do not plan to add support for your specific case, and it would require custom coding if you really need this.

let me explain the problem. I just did not know how to produce Bundle product in ATOM. You wrote that bundles are suported but I did not find any tutorial or documentation for it. So if you can help me with it, it will be great. If you have some link for article od documentation for it I will check it.

BOMs are parts nad raws, right? I can add only simple product to bundle not raw or part. It looks that you are takes simole products as BOMs too, yes?

That's right, we don't have any documentation regarding bundles.

You can add any product to bundles, but it makes no sense to add BOMs unless you are selling the BOM directly (marked as "sellable").
What I suggested is to add simple or variation products to the bundle and link the BOMs to those simple or variation products. That way, when the stock of any simple or variation product decreases, this should affect the stock of all the simple or variation products that share the same BOMs (if you have the BOM stock control option enabled).
