1) Raw material arrives with a manufactures Batch/Lot number. Can I assign that Batch/Lot number to the raw material SKU/Inventory in ATUM?
Yes, you can create a new inventory for the new LOT on that product and add the LOT number to it. (Multi-Inventory addon required)
2) Does Multi-level inventory allow me to have multiple Batch/Lot numbers per SKU? And even multiple vendors per SKU?
Yes, every inventory can have its own Batch/LOT, its own SKU, and Supplier SKU
3) When I produce a product, that has its own Batch/Lot number, utilizing a BOM that contains one or more raw materials with a Batch/Lot number. Is the raw material lot number traceable throughout ATUM such that I can see which orders shipped with a specific raw material Batch/Lot number?
If you use the "Produce" button functionality from Product Levels, there won't be any records of the BOM LOT numbers used for the final product.
If you don't use that and the BOM items are discounted when an order is placed, there will be a used BOM tree painted on every order item that consumed BOMs. But this is only available within the WC order UI and saved to the atum_order_boms table in the database.
If you need better tracking for the BOMs used, it would require custom coding.
1) Can I assign barcodes/QR codes to individual Batch/Lot numbers that I have produced?
Yes, you can assign distinct barcodes per inventory if needed. The Barcodes PRO addon is required for this
2) Can I physically take a pick list and assign products to that order by scanning the barcodes assigned to products? This would give me traceability.
You can find products by Barcode on a picking list but it requires manual intervention on the Pick&Pack UI. Not as simple as scanning a product and auto-picking it.
