Available to Produce Bug

As you can see on the image, Retatrutide Raw has an inventory of 4450, but the available to produce counter are not displaying the exact amount of available to produce. For example, Retatrutide - 5 mg needs 5.5 raw materials. If 4450 devided by 5.5 is 809. But it still displaying 377 instead. Can you check in your end.

Can you please tell us which settings you set in Product Levels for "BOM stock control" and "Produce items according to BOM"?

Do you have any additional ATUM plugins installed (apart from ATUM free)?

When you say, "But it still displaying 377 instead", do you mean that it was correct before, then you made a change, and now it's wrong? Which change?

This is the settings.

only ATUM and Product levels. I also have Woo Product Table and B2B King plugin in my website.

"But it still displaying 377 instead" -> No, I mean on supposed to be when you produce, for example 10 tetatrutide, the number of "Available to Produce" should have reduced because we product a product. But after we "Produce 10 retatrutide" the "Available to Produce" counter is still 377 instead of "322" (377 - (5.5 x 10)).

So the counter in "Available to Produce" Column is not recalculating after a Product "Produce"

Please see also the screenshot for "BOM's Hierarchy Tree".

The quantity of Retatrutude Raw is 4450 and to produce 1 Retatrutide it needs 5.5. SO if you devide 4450 by 5.5 it should display 809 "Available to produce". But look at the screenshot from Manufacturing central, it is still displaying 377 which is incorrect. It is not displaying the correct number of "Available to Produce". No matter how I reset or use the tools in ATUM Settings, the data is still the same. Suppose to be when you produce a product for an Item, it should decrease the number of materials, but it is not. No MAtter how I refresh or delete cache.

We've been studying your issue. We've found a problem when calculating the "available to produce" quantity when BOM Stock Control is disabled.

Thanks so much. We don't want the BOM stock control to enable because we want to control manually the inventory but we want the data for "available to produce".

Objective is we need to control the inventory at the same time we have a data of "Available to produce" that's the reason we dont want to activate the BOM stock control.

And BOM stock control cannot be Activate with Available to produce enabled.

do you have ETA for the fix?

This is a huge code change. We're working on it. Once it's done, we'll need to test the changes to ensure that the plugin is working correctly, checking all the possible configurations. That will take some time.

We'll include this change in the next Product Levels version we expect to publish in three weeks.

Regarding your question about keeping a history of Produce Items' movements, you can use ATUM Action Logs. It tracks changes in your shop, including "Produce items" movements.

Also can I ask, when we "Produce" an item from raw material, does it have history "When was it produce"? for stock monitoring?

Yes, the bug we identified while reviewing your case has been fixed. The changes were released in the ATUM Product Levels version 1.9.17 (the last one).

Regarding your question about why the Produce items option is removed when you enable BOM Control. That's because they are incompatible with each other unless you use ATUM Multi Inventory. Please note that BOM Control enables automatic stock calculation for products with linked BOMs. If the stock of a product is calculated, you can't change it by producing items. I hope this makes sense to you.

Hi I'm interested on the feature of " keeping a history of Produce Items' movements, you can use ATUM Action Logs. It tracks changes in your shop, including "Produce items" movements."" I have checked the documentation but I am not sure how to check it. Can you explain this only feature, please?

I had the same bug with Available to produce. I had upgraded
the new version and still does not work properly

Hi @Caraco ,

Action Logs registers stock movements when "producing".

For example, you can see in the above image a typical "production" movement registered in Action Logs. The stock of the "Sec normal" product was increased by "1" by producing it, consuming stock of the "RM sec net" and "PP sec net" BOM products.

You can check the quantities involved by clicking on the "..." at the end of the row and in "View additional info".

Regarding your last message, please note that the "available to produce" quantity reflects the maximum number of products you can produce with your available BOMs stock, so it's calculated using the "BOM with the minimum to produce stock". In your case, "RAW - Radios LT - Australia (208)", which is assigned 2x to the product, so there are 104 available.

Is that what you're saying that doesn't work? Please, try to explain the case a little more if it isn't.

Those two columns only make sense if the BOM Stock Control and the Produce Items options are deactivated. For your previous post, I understand that you have at least one active. Am I right?

Excuse me, but this is completely related to the thread discussion.

Months ago, with the same configuration you see, in Manufacturing Central we could see how much of the product part we had "locked" in sales products and how much was available for manufacturing.

In some update, this feature disappeared and always shows 0.

I want to be able to manufacture sales products, using the "Produce items" option, and have them automatically appear in "Total in warehouse" and have the quantity used subtracted from "Available to produce".

Can you tell me if this is a setting issue, a feature you've stopped providing, or a bug?

yo quiero poder fabricar producto de venta, con la opción de Produce ítems, y que automáticamente aparezcan en Total in warehouse y se reste la cantidad utilizada del Available to produce.

This thread was about an available-to-produce bug, not about columns not being shown in Manufacturing Central.

Please note that our Forum is used by many people searching for help on various topics, and changing the subject (even if you think it's related) can cause confusion for many of them. I hope you understand.

Answering your question, my apologies, I only read the first image with the "Commited" and "Free to use" fields highlighted, and didn't check the columns in the second image.

As I mentioned, there's no point in displaying the first two with your settings, so they aren't visible.

Regarding the "Total in Warehouse" and "Available to Produce" columns, they should be shown in Manufacturing Central, as you can check in my screenshot.

These columns are also included in your screenshot. Can't you see them on your site?
If you can't, have you tried to check if they are marked in the "Screen Options" area?
You can access it by clicking on the "Screen options" button at the top right of the Manufacturing Central page.
You can also activate/deactivate some of the Manufacturing Central columns from the ATUM -> Settings -> Product Levels. Please check that the columns are active.

Please apologise to me if I didn't understand what your problem is, and my response isn't what your lookin for.

Hello, I can see the columns. The problem is that always is 0 the one called "available to produce". time ago, here I was able to see the raw products commited on sale products and at the "available to produce" columns the free ones to create more sale stock. From some day, this feature desapears.
On your post at 10 Apr you said that this is a bug and can be fixed using the last version. I did and it doesn works yet.

there is a solution?

Hi Caraco ,

Please note that to have "available to produce" quantities, a BOM product must have at least one linked BOM product with the "manage stock option" marked and available stock. Do some of your BOM products have linked BOMs?

If they do, please try to execute the ATUM settings -> Tools -> "Recalculate calculated stock for BOM products". Does this work?
