Importing Suppliers

An ID is required when importing suppliers and from what I can tell from here: https://stockmanagementlabs.crunch.help/en/atum-export-import-pro/how-to-import it says here, it'll add a supplier even if any entity ID matches with an entity ID of the database you are importing. Could any potential issues come from that?

Mainly, I want to know if it is possible for it to be left blank and the ID to be auto-generated from the last ID? So it auto-increments. Maybe adding something into the edit value column when mapping data?

Thanks for your post.

There will be no problem unless you select the ‘Update’ option when importing ("kind of import" in the article you linked to in your post).

An ID is required because ATUM Export Pro allows entities to be linked to others using their original IDs. (e.g. you could import Suppliers, and then, POs related to the suppliers using the original IDs).

If you aren't going to import any related entities, just fill the field with consecutive values using spreadsheet software. They won't be used.
