Packaging, stock and location management

Hello,

I would like to be able to properly manage the following for my products:

The different packaging options (cardboard box, diaper, pallet)
Manage my inventory
Configure storage locations in my warehouse based on the products

What is the best process? I have also downloaded WP All Import to manage this, and I have an Excel file attached.

Not sure I understand your needs, but if you need to handle distinct packaging options of the same base product, and when one is sold, the stock is reduced for all the products linked to the same base, you can achieve that with our Product Levels addon.

And regarding the locations, the ATUM free plugin has the locations taxonomy that can be used for this. If that is not what you need, please elaborate on your business logic more.

I have also downloaded WP All Import to manage this, and I have an Excel file attached.

Not sure for what you want to use WP All Import but that plugin is not compatible with ATUM data. If you need to export/import ATUM and/or WooCommerce data, we have the ATUM Export PRO addon

Ok, thanks for your answer. I add all the add-ons of ATUM to test my process and after confirm the premium version.

I will try to be more clear to explain my needs.

I have a website that will be used exclusively for B2B. My template is this one: https://www.eurobis.be/

I have 7 stores that place their orders with me every week. Currently, they do it by phone, so I want to simplify and digitize this process.

I would like to be able to upload my product file every weekend.

My stores will be able to place their orders during the week so that every Monday we can process their orders and deliver to our various stores.

The specific requirements are:

Stores don't need to know the prices.
They can order in different packaging options: Unit, Carton, Layer, or Pallet, but the quantities vary depending on the product.
Stock management needs to be implemented because if all the stores order 3 pallets of a product I only stock once, it won't work.
I need to be able to add a "best before" date to each product because I have a lot of food products.

For my management, I need:

To be able to see the locations of the different products in the warehouse for each order.
To be able to easily add my products each week using an Excel file.
To be able to print my order with all the information for my logistics team.

There you go, I hope that's clearer.

It would be ideal if everything could be done with ATUM and its add-ons.

I'll try to answer all your points:

Stores don't need to know the prices.

That is something you can do with custom coding, but this part is related to WooCommerce and your theme only. ATUM is not responsible for showing or hiding prices in the frontend.

They can order in different packaging options: Unit, Carton, Layer, or Pallet, but the quantities vary depending on the product.

You can create a variable product with all kinds of variations you need for every kind of packaging. This is just a basic WooCommerce configuration.

Stock management needs to be implemented because if all the stores order 3 pallets of a product I only stock once, it won't work.

If you need to sync the unitary stock for that product and reduce it accordingly depending on the packaging sold, you can do so with the Product Levels add-on. So the "unitary" product should be a BOM product and assigned to each packaging variation in the right proportion.

I need to be able to add a "best before" date to each product because I have a lot of food products.

For that, you will need the Multi-Inventory addon. You can create as many inventories as needed, assign them to a specific location (the store), and set distinct BBE dates for each.

For that, you can use our Export PRO addon. But you will have to do some manual adjustments to the CSV file before importing it, as you will have a very specific configuration. But you can read this:
