Duplicate Backorder emails caused by ATUM plugin

I am receiving duplicate backorder emails. I have traced it to the main ATUM plugin as the cause, as disabling it caused the issue to go away, and re-enabling it immediately caused the issue to return.

Well, that does not necessarily mean what you concluded.
It can also be caused by a conflict with a third-party plugin.
In order to determine this, please disable all your plugins except WooCommerce and ATUM and try that way.
If it works, you can try enabling them back one by one until you find the source of the conflict.
