Need Help Creating SKU-Level Inventory Forecast with ATUM & WooCommerce Data

We're using WooCommerce with the ATUM Inventory plugin. I want to create an automated stock forecast in Excel or in woo commerce based on 2024 sales data, broken down per product and per component (e.g. chains, tags, stones, clasps). Products have BOMs and components should be linked to supplier SKUs. The problem: there's no current link between product SKUs and components/supplier SKUs.

I’m looking for:

A way to export all product-component (BOM) relations from WooCommerce or ATUM.

A structured way to build this mapping and forecast in Excel (or better).

Any plugin or integration that can automate this monthly.

AnnHanndson and to make it even more concrete:
We sell custom jewelry on WooCommerce. Each product is built from multiple components (e.g. chain, clasp, tag) tracked by SKU (in some cases) via the ATUM Inventory plugin. WooCommerce Analytics only reports final product sales, not component usage, making it hard to forecast demand per component. To forecast 2024 demand per component, we want to link WooCommerce orders to components used.

Specifically:

Is there a way to tie WooCommerce orders to their BOM components (as defined in ATUM)?
Can variation SKUs or component SKUs from ATUM be matched to WooCommerce order line items?
What plugin or export (e.g. ATUM Export Pro, WooCommerce Product Bundles) could help automate product-to-component mapping?
Bonus: Better method (outside Excel) to forecast component demand using WooCommerce order and BOM data (ATUM)?

EmmaHannay yes waiting for the expert to arrive, as we are looking if we will further use ATUM or not :-) or just go to an ERP system, so let's proof me wrong :-)

Thank you very much for your questions.

Forcasts will not be something we are looking for to developed. It was the plan before, but after years of bad experience and the way WooCommerce data works and due to the fact that there is soo many plugins users install to change the db data, there is simply no way. We would end up with tons of bad predictions.

I recommend using a system outside of WC. System, that stores data in its own db.
