Best Practices for Handling Multi-Warehouse Stock in WooCommerce?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using the ATUM Inventory Management plugin for my WooCommerce store and it's been a game-changer for basic stock tracking. Lately, I’ve been expanding and now managing inventory across multiple warehouses. I’m considering the Multi-Inventory Premium add-on, but I’m unsure about the real-world setup and performance.

For anyone who’s already using it—how seamless is the warehouse switching and order routing? Can ATUM auto-assign orders to the nearest location based on customer location or available stock?

Also, I’m currently enrolled in a Generative AI Course, and it’s got me thinking about possible AI integrations for smarter inventory forecasting and automation. Has anyone here experimented with combining ATUM or WooCommerce with AI tools to optimize stock levels or order management?

I’d love to hear how others are streamlining operations and reducing manual work, especially as we scale. Any insights, tips, or even warnings would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your post.

I am glad you are enjoying ATUM, however, multi location is not part of the Multi Inventory addon. Multi Inventory focuses mainly on one store that needs several inventory records per product (due to expiry dates, batches and so on.). You can asign locations to these, but managing warehouses is not part of this. I am sorry to dissapoint.
