Purchase Orders search issues

I've got a ticket in from my Client about issues with the search within Purchase Orders, I've never used this feature myself, so don't know what to expect. They're saying wether they search for a business/supplier name, a product or even a PO number, it brings up no results.

I tested this for myself and she's right, it doesn't seem to return anything you'd expect.

We recently migrated the whole site to HPOS, and it's greatly improved the WooCommerce search, so unsure if that's related or not.

Can anyone explain what the search should return within ATUM > Purchase Orders, are we using it wrong?

ATUM is compatible with HPOS since WooCommerce published it in beta. So it shouldn't be a problem.
Anyway, HPOS is only for WooCommerce orders and has nothing to do with the ATUM Purchase Orders post type.

I've just tried to search for a PO myself by its ID and also by the assigned supplier, and both worked for me.

So I would suggest you try to disable all your plugins except WooCommerce and ATUM and try that way.
If it works, you can start enabling them back one by one until you find the source.
I'd strongly recommend you do so on a staging site if possible.

Hi Salva,

We tried disabling all the plugins and found it was a code snippet that had been updated concerning frontend search, except it was being excuted in the backend as well, once this was modified to only effect the frontend search, everything started working within the purchase orders again.
