We are currently using Atum Inventory and plan to integrate some of the premium add-ons. We have been testing the plugin on both our staging environment and our official shop (bosi.bg).
I am reaching out with specific questions regarding the barcode scanner add-on and its capabilities, as I couldn’t find enough detailed information online.
Current Workflow:
We operate both an online and a physical shop using WooCommerce. For physical shop purchases, we currently follow this process:
Create a manual order using our own profiles (email, name, address, etc.) to update stock.
Issue a receipt through our hardware cash register.
While this workflow is functional, we understand it is not the most efficient. In the future, we may consider implementing an ERP system, but finding one that integrates reliably with WooCommerce is challenging.
My Questions:
Can the barcode scanner add-on function as a POS (Point of Sale) system? Specifically, is it possible to scan products and complete orders without filling out the WooCommerce checkout form?
Are there any plans to expand Atum’s services to include features like a POS or ERP system?
