Managing products with multiple items.

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently using the ATUM Inventory Management plugin and need assistance in managing products that consist of multiple components. Specifically, I have packages that include items such as Yerba Mate cups, PDF prints, packaging, and bonus items.

When a package is sold, I would like the inventory for each individual component to be automatically reduced by one. For instance, if a package containing a Yerba Mate cup, a PDF print, and a bonus chocolate bar is sold, I want each of these components to be deducted from the inventory accordingly.

Could you please provide guidance on how I can set this up in an automated way using the features available in ATUM?

Thanks for your post.

You can use the ATUM Product Levels plugin to achieve what you want.

With it, you can create BOM products (as Product Parts or Raw Materials) as you have (Yerba Mate cup, PDF print,...). Then, link the BOMs to a final product. Once they're linked, every time a final product is sold, the BOMs' stock levels are reduced.

You can also activate the BOM Stock Control setting to automatically calculate the number of available final products depending on their BOMs' stock.
