committed Stock Stock central

Hello i have a few questions and i think i found a bug.

We have already manufactured parts in our Stock. If i update these stocks in the shop it also reserves the parts of the BOMs as committed which is not correct because the parts were already used. I do not want them to count as comitted and therefore reduce the stock.
1. When I produce a part it results that it reduces the BOM part in the manufacturing stock which is correct but it also increase the committed stock part. This results that it adds double for the shortage number. This can not be correct.

Yes, you're right. There are some incongruences with the committed and shortage values when you activate the Produce Items button. Indeed, those fields maybe don't make sense anymore. We have to rethink these counters (or change them to new ones) on our TODO list.

Hi Julian ,

I'm sorry. It isn't possible without custom coding.

However, you can hide these fields using CSS, and the Manufacturing Central Screen Options.

Also, you can remove these columns from ATUM Settings -> Product Levels -> Manufacturing Central Options -> Available columns.

japiera Ok I can hide the comitted stock but this does not solve that the calculation still is going on and parts are used double which results in a wrong "shortage" or "free to use". I think i could no be the only one who is struggling with the wrong calculation. Right now i see no solution how we can handle our stock the right way.

Hi Julian ,

We know. That's why I told you we added rethinking these counters to our TODO list. What I gave you is just a workaround to hide the fields so that they do not give rise to possible errors.
