Po Pro - tying a item ordered to a customer order

HI,
when using po pro and we create a manual order, is there a way of identifying which customer order these items have been ordered for please ? other fields ?We tried meta data but it gets lost and we cant see it anywhere other than in the actual po

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

When does the metadata get lost when you add fields to Purchase Orders? Added custom fields shouldn't disappear.

Anyway, you have the Customer's Price and the Sales Order Number fields to keep track of the original order and customer.

Indeed, when you select the order ID, you will be asked to confirm if you want to add the items from the Sales Order automatically, and the customer's name will also be imported.

thank you for your reply.

A purchase order to a supplier may contain a number of products we wish t buy from them, the products would have been ordered on us by our different customers, hence we are using a Meta tag to identify ON each part in the PO who its for when it arrives.

Yes, we can see this when we edit a PO, however it would be very benificial to us if we could see who its for in the inbound stock list.

You're welcome.

It would be relatively easy to add that meta field to the Inbound Stock list. However, it can only be achieved with custom development.
