Is Product Levels right for me?

Hi team,

I order products from a supplier in one outer box with 12 items in the box.

I need to be able to sell the 12 single items at one price, and the whole outer box at another price (which is different to just 12x the single price).

I also need to have stock attributed to units of the outer box (as this is how it comes from supplier).

For example: I buy 5 boxes from supplier. This is equivalent to 60 items. Customer A buys 6 items and Customer B buys 3 boxes, this leaves me with 1.5 boxes remaining or 18 items.

Is Product Levels the correct solution to handle this use case?
If so, what would the item and box be called as per the documentation?

Yes, ATUM Product Levels should work for you.

You can create the boxes as a simple product, and the items as a BOM product. Then link it to the boxes product with a quantity of 12:

Each time you sell a box, 12 units of the BOM product will be deducted. You can also mark the BOM as sellable to sell it separately.
