Action Logs only log changes in the database. It would log when a product's supplier is changed, which one, and the date. But this info won't be related to the orders created. You'd need to check the order's date and search for the product's supplier on that date. It would be possible but not easy to backtrack the supplier.
The best option to achieve what you want is ATUM Multi-Inventory. You can assign many inventories to a product, each with a supplier, and a batch number,...
When orders are processed, the used inventory is saved so you can access the info later.
