Best Practice: Handling Unfulfilled Purchase Orders and Reordering

Hello everyone,

I'm facing a situation where a seller partially fulfilled a purchase order (PO). While I could manually edit the existing PO PDF to reflect the missing products, I'd also like to order additional items.

My question is: Would it be more efficient to close the current PO, create a new one for the combined order (missing + new products), and address the unfulfilled portion with the seller separately?

I'm open to any recommended workflows or best practices for this scenario.

All the options are correct. From our point of view, there doesn't exist the best practice. It will depend on your business logic.
