Problem Importing Products with Variations

Hi there, I exported a Products + ATUM Data file, used it to create a bunch more products and variations (directly modeled after the one product with variations I already had successfully created), but when I re-import the CSV file, none of the variations appear to be imported, despite the fact that they are marked green as imported. Only the parent product is created, with no variations and no stock. The variations appear nowhere, and I still have to generate variations and fill in all of the data. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? (This morning I submitted a ticket with my CSV attached, but haven't yet received a reply.)
