Multiple Inventory Same Inventories to All Products

Hello,

Thank you for the wonderful plugin, I was just wondering, since all of my products have same inventories. Will it be possible to duplicate these inventories to other products as well? Since I have around 600+ Products, and having to add these inventories on the products one by one is really time consuming.

I am very sorry to say, but the bulk import is not yet ready. Until we come up with a good solution, the only way is doing it manually.

Hi,
So just to clarify (same query I think so jumping on this thread instead of opening a new one). When I create a product I need to manually recreate all inventories (warehouses) each time? Including the countries/ regions it's restricted to?

Our Client has 4 distribution hubs around the world each handling a different area, they always have the same 4 warehouses and logic would be that we could with a button click add them to the products as we create them given that they don't change ever. Have I misunderstood or does the plugin have this feature?

Thank you very much for your post.

That would be awesome! We will try to bring bulk import feature this summer, for now all manual work, unfortunately.

You need to understand that WooCommerce on its own is only built for simple shopping. The way it functions is not so easy to do what you need.

Thank you for the reply admin.
Unfortunately, I needed bulk feature, so what I did was:

When I added in the multi-inventory I inspected every table and columns with their data being added to it.
Made sure that these tables are connected to each other and the data they generate is the same as your plugin does when I manually add inventories.

Here's what I need:
I'm aware that every time you add a new product the "Main Inventory" is always created by default so I :
1. Need this "Main Inventory" to renamed as "Warehouse" and the "Warehouse" Region will be assigned in the "Warehouse" shipping zone I created + location and priority.
2. Need to add another 9 more inventory with different region + shipping zone specifically assigned to them, since they have different postal/zip codes.

So I created a script that :
1. Get all product id
2. Scan these product id if they exist in "atum_inventories" table
2.A If they did exist, (I'm sure "Main Inventory" was added) so rename the "Main Inventory" to "Warehouse"
3. Added 9 more inventories with assigned shipping zones on them automatically.

@nebulacolin I'm not sure if we really have the same feature needed but here's mine

ATUM house clean up is already planned and will be part of one of the next updates.

We are already working on similar solutions, little more advanced as we need to think of 1000s of different scenarios.

Also I remembered, while I was creating the script, can you also please add to your feature that whenever the product has been deleted, all the atum items connected to it will be deleted too? Since it's going to be an additional trash in the tables data if it's not going to be deleted.
