Hi! I have a pre-sale question about the Product Levels addon. At my webshop I sell items that I make myself. To keep track of the raw materials I would like to use your plugin. What I do not fully understand yet is the following: I do not make the items on demand, so the items are pre-made. It is also possible to use this plugin for this purpose? As far as I can see, the plugin calculates the available stock based on the stock of the raw material. I only want the raw material to decrease in stock if a product is made and the stock is added to the website. Is this possible?
With kind regards, Remco
Hi RemcoD
For that purpose, you could use Multi-Inventory and Product Levels together. So, you can have as many inventories per product as you need for the produced items and leave the main inventory for the not-produced stock. And you can decide whether to use the Main Inventory stock for selling or not. You have detailed info in the documentation: https://stockmanagementlabs.crunch.help/en/atum-product-levels/multi-inventory-and-product-levels-integration
If you have further questions, please let me know.
Best Regards, Salva.
Hi Salva
Thank you for replying. I have installed the trial versions of both addons. But there is one thing I cannot figure out yet: Is it also possible to decrease the raw material stock automatically when produced stock is added? So basically that the stock is "moved" from the calculated stock in the main inventory to the "produced stock" inventory that is created.
Best regards, Remco
FYI, this is a functionality that we are working on and will be added to Product Levels soon 😉 So it will be a "Produce Items" button that will do exactly what you are describing.
Thanks you for your response! I am looking forward to this feature! 😀
Hi RemcoD ,
You're welcome.
You can check our changelog page to know when it's included.

Hi,
Any updates on when this feature is expected to be added?
Sorry, I can't give you an ETA.
The feature is already developed, but there is some testing to do before releasing it.
