Hi, I'm a company that does personalised gifts. We subscribed to Products Levels, thinking that it meet our needs - but it didn't.
We just tested the update & managed to link the products to the various product parts. However, the inventory is deducted based on the allocated quantities & they allow customer to overbuy even if the product part is already sold.
For example, we would want to offer our customers with 20 t-shirt designs. The ideal scenario is for us to add the 20 designs as individual products on WooCommerce & link them all to the same product part (plain t-shirt, in various sizes). The product part inventory would then be deducted for every sale & once the product part runs out, it should not allow anymore sales on the website for items that were linked to it. It would not make sense for us to stock i.e. 20quantities x 20 designs on our inventory.
Right now, the system requires us to allocated the product part to the item & it wouldn't make any difference to us if there were this function. Because with the original WooCommerce we could have also just "allocate" and state the quantities of each design accordingly.
We love your development & would really hope that you could make this happen! There are many small businesses that are trimming their inventory, so it would really be very helpful. Looking forward to hear from you.
