I have set up a variable product (Widget) and assigned two variable product parts to it (Part A-1 and Part B-3). What I want is for the Widget product to show as in stock if the parts that go in to it (Part A-1 and Part B-3) are in stock, and for it to be on backorder if one or more of the parts are out of stock. But it's not working. I can see that both parts are in stock, but in stock central or the front end the Widget is showing as being out of stock.
What are the settings I need verify to have to make this work correctly?
I have tried it with ATUM stock management turned on on the Widget and with it turned off and it doesn't make a difference.
Ideas?
