Currently, I'm using a service that imports products via a feed from my suppliers. This service adds a prefix to the SKU, which creates duplicate products in my store if it's a product I already carry. I'd like to combine these SKUs under a single product, with each being a separate inventory item. I see that your plugin kind of works this way, but I'm not sure if it's a perfect fit. Here are my concerns:
1) If I have two products with different SKUs already in my store, such as PRODUCT-A and PRODUCT-A-1, for instance, would creating a second inventory under PRODUCT-A with PRODUCT-A-1 as the SKU automatically associate this inventory with the existing product?
2) My import system uses the WooCommerce API and updates the stock quantity for each SKU. Would your plugin alter how stock quantities are updated through the existing API?
