Cost Price Not Showing on stock central after inputting onto PO

I have recently set up a purchase order (status on the way) and input the correct cost price in US$. It is not reflected in Stock Central though. Can someone let me know what can be done to rectify this?

I understand you are referring to the purchase price, right?
Is the price correct on the product page but not in Stock Central or is it incorrect everywhere?

I set this PO up yesterday so thought maybe it would take a while to change but the price is still not being pulled through. Can you help with this or does the price only change once the PO is booked in and delivered?

But are you using the "Set purchase price" functionality to set the price for the products as described in the documentation?

Only by creating a PO doesn't mean that the purchase prices will be adjusted automatically. You can do so manually for the products you want.

I set the price here as we pay in US dollars, you can only set the price in GBP everywhere else

Yes I read it, I'm still not sure why it's not changed. I also feel like every time we have a problem you just send me links rather than try to resolve it. Please can you explain to me why the cost isn't changing in stock central?

If I sent you a link is because it's explained there and you have not confirmed that you are using the "Set Purchase Price" modal to set the purchase price. In your last message, you sent me a screenshot that has nothing to do with the "Set purchase price" modal.
And you are still not confirming that. I need to know if you are doing it right to move forward. I hope you understand this...

If you are doing so and the price is not updating, please open a private ticket and give us access so we can investigate it.

Hi, I don't want to set the purchase price in GBP we buy in US dollars so i would have to sit and convert each item

Hi freyaL

The purchase prices must be stored always in the shop's base currency. Saving the prices in other currencies is not supported.
If you always purchase in $ from a specific supplier, you just have to set $ as the supplier's currency and, once you create a new PO and assign it to that supplier, its currency will be set automatically and the conversion applied when you enter any product. This is everything explained in the documentation.

The purchase price on STOCK CENTRAL is NOT the same as the purchase price on our PO. I want to know why and how to change this because otherwise it's a useless feature and we cannot calculate our profit.

Thanks, I've just had another look through the forum and found another customer asking the same question - Iryna seems to have provided a clear response on this. It looks as though the cost price does not pull through onto the product cost. Would be helpful if this feature was available as would save A LOT of time inputting data repeatedly.
