urgent need for an option regarding the minimum purchase order per product. It has become increasingly challenging to manage a catalog of 2000 articles without this feature. The task of keeping track of the minimum purchase quantities for each item has proven to be quite labor-intensive, requiring significant effort every week to adjust the numbers accordingly.

Yeah I just saw this thread after I posted in another thread asking for the same thing. There have been at least 20 people asking for this feature for over 3 years now. Not being able to define case qtys for items that cannot be ordered by the each is almost a game breaking bug. You have such a powerful plugin suite that I would love to buy, but I am still on the fence because as a manufacturer I cannot produce products by the each. I have to produce products using a standard BOM with a standard batch size. If I wanted to key in the standard order qty for every product I produce as well as every raw material I buy, I could, but the feature we are all requesting is so simple in comparison to all of the other features included in the plugin, that it should be implemented.

I have been absolutely blown away by all of the features that the ATUM plugin suite offers. If I am being honest, I have yet to find another viable alternative. That being said, MOQ/case counts is a VERY basic feature that has been offered in virtually every POS/order tracking system that I have used in the past. I know you are waiting until more people request this feature, but the time is now. ATUM needs to be able to define standard order qtys.

As you said, several people asked for this feature. The dev team is discussing it now and will decide whether to include it in future versions.

Please note that if we include it on our TODO list, the feature will probably not be included until Autumn.

japiera I appreciate you taking the time to reply. As a former software dev (non woo/wp) I understand that you cannot just snap your fingers and it be done. I have spent many hours over the past week working with ATUM, and I absolutely love everything so far. As someone who buys, makes, and sells, it has just about everything that I could ask for. I believe the penultimate step for true automation would be to define the standard order quantities that an individual works with. The only other thing needed for true automation that I would throw in as a feature request would be the ability to create batch POs. This would allow for POs for different suppliers to be generated. If you were able to define std order qtys, it would be nothing to set rules up for batch POs for a list of suppliers that would allow the system to create POs for each supplier based on out of stock, low stock, restock status. I am estimating around 30min it would take for me to run POs for all of my suppliers (compared to hours before ATUM). If batch POs were set up, it would take it down to less than 5 min. As a former dev, I don't see those two features requiring much work to implement (regression testing takes all the time anyways 😉. I would love to know what you think about it as I truly believe ATUM would level up with true automation!

Regarding the automation of creating POs, that isn't in our roadmap, sorry.

You can create a new thread for such a feature in this same section (Suggest a Feature), and if enough people are interested in it, we'll consider implementing it for future versions, as will happen with this thread's suggestion.

However, if you need it as soon as possible, I kindly suggest hiring a developer to assist you. Our code is full of hooks that can be used to extend it, and we are open to including new ones if necessary.

japiera Thanks for youir slightly aggressive reply & deletion of my post. I don't do this for a living so you have me at a great disadvantage but you need to understand a alot of your customers (the ones who make your business ) want & need this feature. Sell your customer what they want to buy.

I, and my developer have been wondering why this seemingly simple but massively time saving feature isn't available & it's getting to the point where this missing function costs me so much time & allows mistakes to be made (by me) that I am considering leaving Atum/PO Pro and looking for an alternative. Please, please please listen to the many users who have asked for this function & make it a priority or sadly I will be off.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We always listen to what users ask for. Indeed, we're thinking about how to add this feature.

However, we're a small team and are not doing any new development currently as we launched 3 addons and need to ensure all is working smoothly.

We are also about to launch a free app for ATUM that requires the attention of all our developers.

After releasing the ATUM app, we'll continue adding new features in the coming months.

Nothing more to add here. Your last reply does not contribute anything to this thread.
We are aware that many users are asking for this feature and we already said that will take it into consideration for a future version.
What we cannot provide is an ETA for this feature as we have dozens of features planned that are waiting to be developed and we do what we can with our small team.
So you can wait until this is released or, if you want it ASAP, we would kindly suggest you find a developer to help you out with this improvement.
