Hi All,

I have set up two stock locations for my AUTM Inventory Management plugin but I cannot find how to transfer stock between locations? Can anyone help me please.

Are you using the Multi-Inventory add-on?

No I just added a location under the side bar where it says Products then ATUM Locations

These locations are merely informative and cannot handle stock on themselves.
If you need to separate stock and assign locations to them, you would need to use our Multi-Inventory add-on

great thanks, do you offer any predictive aspects to the stock management? i.e. when things are likely to go out of stock or when we should be ordering new stock etc?

You have this kind of info in the Stock Central table (stock will last, out of stock days, lost sales, etc).

Also how to I transfer stock from 1 location to the next?

There is a split inventory functionality. But apart from this, you can adjust the stock for any inventory manually at any time (from Stock Central or from the product pages)

Hi Salva, are you saying I need to mark on location down and then the next location up? Is there a way I can create an order that says X products are going from store A to store B?

OK I have bought it and installed but but I dont seem to be able to move individual SKUs I can only track the whole product instead of each variant? For example I have product A that comes in 10 sizes but store X only stocks 5 of those variants and Store Z stocks all of them

Hi Salva,

Here you can see I can only adjust the location at the product level not at the variant level. For example I want to be able to transfer 2 of variant 1 from location A to location B. In the attached example I want to move 2 units SKU MESSEMLL from one location to another but I can't see how to do this

Are you reading my messages? 🙂
Please re-read them and you will see that I've said that only with the Multi-Inventory add-on you can do what you want. No way to do it with the free ATUM plugin only.

So I need to be able to receive stock in location A. Transfer stock at a variant level from location A to location B and when sales are made they need to deduct stock from location A if its an online sale or if I am looking a manual sale from location B stock needs to be deducted from that location

Hi Salva, Yes I am and I have installed the multi inventory add on and my questions are following the installation of this add on. Can you reread my messages and refer to the pictures I have sent as I cannot seem to move stock based on a variant level

I've already read your messages and saw your screenshots but these screenshots have nothing to do with Multi-Inventory.
Perhaps there is a misunderstanding of how Multi-Inventory works. Please check how a product with multiple inventories looks in Stock Central:

And each inventory has its own location (the blue marker icon).
And If you reread my messages, I've said:

Hi Salva,

Sorry we have been caught up but am getting back to this. So I have tried to follow the instructions and the first one says to enable multi inventory on all products in the settings. My setting do not show anything about multi inventory but when I log into stock management labs I can see it says it is active on my site?
