Stock reduced twice

For the last few weeks I've noticed that when a customer orders a certain product, it reduces the stock twice. I'm pretty sure it started happening after the most recent update. I tried disabling other plugins and still couldn't find the issue so I'm guessing it's either a problem with ATUM or WooCommerce. It's only happening with this one product. All the others are controlled by their BOM.

I've seen a few others have this issue but could not find any answers. Any help is appreciated!

Edit: It only seems to happen if they order one unit of the product. If they order multiple it works as expected.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

First of all, please, check that all your ATUM plugins and WooCommerce are updated to their latest versions.

From your words, I understand that you are using Product Levels, don't you?
You also say that this product hasn't linked BOMs, am I right?
Did you check if the product stock was really reduced twice? Even though the order notes show two "stock movements", it is possible that the stock is reduced only once.

All plug-ins are updated to their latest versions. I am using Product Levels, but this product does not have any linked BOMs. I double checked the stock and it does reduce it twice. I first noticed this issue when people would order when only one was in stock and it would create a backorder and put the stock at -1. This issue only seems to occur when ordering a single unit. Yesterday someone orders 3 units and it did not have any issues.

In order to determine the cause and to know if this is being caused by ATUM or not, we would need to know a way to replicate it. I hope you understand this.
Theoretically, if the product doesn't have BOMs, ATUM shouldn't affect the reduced stock at all. It's WooCommerce itself that does this process entirely. But we would need to know the steps to reproduce this issue to know who is causing it.
So if you are able to replicate it, just let us know, please.

Thanks! Good to know it is probably a WooCommerce thing. I'll play around with it a bit to see if I can figure it out and replicate it myself rather than through someone else ordering. If I find out what is causing it I'll update this thread so anyone else running into the issue can hopefully find the answer here.
