Having Multiple environments

Howdy, I'm looking to use and download all the plugins, but I need to know how to deal with inventory as we roll out from one environment to the next.
I have been testing the free, and there doesn't seem to be any default backup or sync that will preserve the inventory as we push the inventory from one environment to the next.
I'm basically trying to avoid overwriting my live data when I push my stg environment.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand what you mean.
All the ATUM data is being stored on your database (the same thing WooCommerce or any other plugin that needs preserving the data does).

If you need to back up your data, just back up your database.
If you are pushing a staging environment to a live site, you shouldn't move the database (or you could also lose your orders, etc). If you just move files, you don't have to worry about it.
