I have raw materials, that go into a product part, that then go into the finished product. The product part is essentially a sub-assembly so I want to keep track of how many I have currently built AND how many more I am able to produce, but it only shows me how many I can produce based on the current raw materials.
So Raw Materials --> Product Part (sub assembly) --> Finished Product for sale
Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. How do I go from "Available to Produce" to "Total in Warehouse" on the "BOM - Finished Cables" product part? That way I can track how many finished cables I currently have in inventory AND how many more I can produce.
Thanks for your help
Edit to Add: After perusing the forums for a couple hours, I came across posts talking about "Manufacturing Orders" and it sounds like what I need. Is this what I would need and is it still a planned feature? Any suggestions on how to accomplish this without manufacturing orders while still using the BOM calculated stock control? This would help a lot with anybody that makes sub-assemblies that then go into a final product.
