Same product different sku

We have a product that is currently at 539 pcs with sku# ZC01405.

We have received our next shipment of this product which is 500 pcs but has a different sku#.

Currently I have to manually wait until our stock of the current 539 pcs gets to 0 and then go add the 500 pcs with the new SKU. If I add the 500 now I either have to leave the old SKU which will look like 839pcs of the first SKU. Or change the SKU to the new one which will then look like 839 pcs of the new SKU. I currently dont have a way to put the following for the same 1 product:

539pcs - SKU ZC01405
then refill with below stock
500pcs - SKU (new sku#)

Does your Multi Inventory addon allow for this type of data input so that I dont have to wait until stock gets to 0 so that I can come back to add the new stock with the new SKU ... whenever that might need to be done?

Thanks for your question.

With the Multi-Inventory add-on, you can create as many inventories per product as you want.
One of its features is that you can add to each inventory different suppliers, SKUs, prices, and more.

So, in your case, you can easily create one inventory with the stock of 539pcs and SKU ZC01405, and another one with the stock of 500pcs and SKU (new sku#). This way, there is no need to wait until your stock gets 0.
