Hello,
We've been using an SQL query to join a few WP tables with one ATUM table, so we can produce a stock value report document for our clients. Basically we pull in the SKU, Title, Quantity and Purchase Price for each item in the catalogue, and produce a HTML table.
This has worked for 2-odd years, but we're now experiencing issues with our method and it's bottle-necking on the database query.
It used to take 10-15 seconds to produce the report, now it's taking up-to 4 mins, with no real change in quantity of products, they have roughly 600 products.
I was hoping you could provide an easier way for us to access the purchase price of a given product, without us having to manually pull it from the database? a function that could be call for example?
OR
Is there a way to produce purchase price based stock value reports with ATUM, I noticed a few tickets from years ago of users asking for this functionality and ATUM explaining it was a feature planned for the future? has this come to anything?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated,
Cheers,
