supplier filter not working

The supplier filter has stopped working. It says: No products found.
Products have set suppliers. I have the current version of the plugin installed.
Where could be the problem? Thanks

You are using an outdated Multi-Inventory version. The latest is 1.7.0
Please update Multi-Inventory and try again.

Unfortunately, I no longer have an active license for Multi Inventory and I can't update it. That's why I use the older version. When I deactivate Multi Inventory, it works. I would expect the plugins to be backwards compatible.

Having an active license is strongly advisable. Not only to receive new features, but also for bug fixes and make sure it works with future versions of ATUM, WooCommerce, and WordPress...
If you continue updating all your plugins except Multi-Inventory, it's 100% sure that sooner or later you'll have problems. To avoid this, perhaps you should downgrade to the versions available when Multi-Inventory version 1.6.5.1 was released but this would make your site less secure and buggy.
So it's up to you if you want to renew your license and update 😉

What you are trying to say is not true and most definitely not a tactic.
We are developing software here for business. We must earn some money; otherwise, we could simply shut down and not do it.

As a WordPress and WooCommerce user, you have decided to set up your shop in an environment burdensome on support. Let me explain, all your plugins are from separate developers that do not talk to each other. Compatibility for all is simply impossible as there are thousands and thousands of plugins, and we do not know what users will install.

It was very nice of me to let my guys develop a free version of ATUM that helps users achieve some control over their stock. The free version of ATUM has cost me a few hundred thousand euros already. This is a cost in development and support.

We are making some premium features like the add on you have; all these features must stay compatible with the main 2 plugins, WordPress and WooCommerce. Changes are happening weekly in both of these plugins. So, as a company committed to keeping our users happy and satisfied, we amend our add-ons and the free ATUM weekly.
Plus, we keep on adding new features regularly too.

You, as a user, have decided to purchase one of our premium features. By purchasing it, you have chosen a license that is charged regularly. So you are obliged to a contract, but you can choose to end the contract but lose the support. The benefit of keeping the last updated version is on your site. However, you can expect issues if you want to keep updating all the main plugins and keep using the old version of an unlicensed product.

Your comment contradicts the decision you made when you purchased initially. We offer licenses that are paid regularly and inform the users before purchase. So, we are not forcing anybody to buy licenses.

I hope this makes sense and you see now where we are coming from. You are free to uninstall the copy of your premium feature or simply re-subscribe and re-activate your license.

The filtering is a basic function of the free plugin.
If I use the free plugin alone, the filter works.
If I turn on an older version of Multi-Inventory, the functionality of the free plugin stops working.
In my opinion, this is a bug. That's all.
I simply stop using Multi-Inventory.

Unfortunately, it is not a bug if you use two incompatible versions.

You should roll back with the free ATUM to the version that worked with the version of your old MI add on. Same you should be using WP and WC only compatible with these versions. If it would not work then, that would be a bug.

However, we have tested what you have reported, but with the latest versions of all plugins plus the latest MI this issue does not exist.

If you decide not use the premium of course we understand. Hope this experience did not leave any bad feelings.
We try doing everything for our users and if you have any issues with the free ATUM plugin while running all the latest versions, we will be in right away to help out.

I don't suppose that this is a major problem, even if older versions of the plugins are used. Because until recently it worked flawlessly on different versions. So I see it as a willingness to solve a relatively small problem. So my feelings are not the best. But I also understand your attitude. For me it is not a fundamental problem. I can do without the premium plugin. And at the same time I will probably look for an alternative with a little better pro-user approach. Thank you for your understanding.
