Fair enough and understood.
From my point of view it's awkward as there are different license keys for the different products. I tend not to need to login to my account for 3-4 months. Yes the info is there in my account and on the e-mail - but it's wearying digging that info out.
When you look at the massive burden we all now carry around trying to remember various logins and passwords [yep I know password savers help] then anything that can simplify the process will be better for your customers and better for your business.
As an example - we have customers who are always forgetting their login - they go to re set the password - and seem to struggle with that- then get very frustrated.
I even made a video to show them how to do it - it doesn't make any difference... I could say 'well they should remember their passwords' or 'they are not following the instructions right' but it's probably not helpful.
So we will now have a login with SMS as they always know there phone number, and always have their phone - and they can then get an SMS code to unlock their account there and then.
