Hi Alex_____
You could achieve what you want with our premium add-on ATUM Product Levels. With this add-on you can create bill of materials in order to create final products, so their stock is deducted from the stock of the bill of materials.
I will show you a practical example:
- Create the Raw Material. I called it 'Raw Material for T-Shirts' (Stock quantity: 10):
- Now create the T-Shirt A, for example. Link it to the raw material we have created, and set how many units of raw material are needed to create 1 unit of the T-shirt A.
- Update the product, making sure that BOM Stock Control is enabled (ATUM settings > Product Levels). You will see the calculated stock quantity field (10).
So, if you create the other T-shirt products, and you use the same BOM for each one, the stock will be deducted for all of them when someone buys a T-shirt.
I recommend you to take a look at the documentation of the add-on where you will find useful info about how the add-on works: https://forum.stockmanagementlabs.com/t/product-levels-documentation
And the link to the demosite in case you would like to try the free trial: https://stockmanagementlabs.com/addons/atum-product-levels/
Best Regards,
Andrea.
