Massive stock discrepancies

We are seeing some huge changes in stock levels across all our stock. Some items are not affected, others are. We are talking in some instances variations of over 500! This can be an increase or stock in the minus figures. We have not sold anywhere near the amounts showing and I cannot see any specific link between the items that have been affected. In some cases, only a few variations of one item have been affected while the others are unchanged.

In order to know what is happening in your site we will need more info to be able to reproduce it.

Is this happening just with variable products?

Also, I need you to check this before keeping investigating:

Make sure that you have the last update of your ATUM add-ons.
If you have and the problem persists, try to deactivate all plugins except ATUM add-ons and Woocommerce and check again.

Hi guys,
Thank you for coming back to me. Yes it seems to be happening on variable items only. When I discovered the problem, I immediately updated all plugins to the most recent where applicable. I then carried out a physical stock check and corrected the stock figures. However a few of which have since gone wrong again. I'll disable other plugins and see what happens.

AndreaRebel Hi Andrea I will have to disable plugins on my staging site. We are running our shop through izettle which should defer to WooCommerce with regards to stock levels but do you think there could be some sort of conflict between zettle, WC and Atum?

I apologize, but we don't know izettle and we can't give you an answer to this question. So please, try to deactivate the plugin and see what happens.

If you find any conflict with a third party plugin, you will need to look for an alternative, or using custom development to add the compatibility, but as we don't offer this service you will need to hire a developer.

Hi Andrea,

I have had it confirmed that the ATUM plugin is what is causing the issues with the stock levels. This is a real shame as the whole purpose of us using your product was to significantly reduce our time spent carrying out stock changes etc. As there is no fix coming anytime soon from either Zettle or yourselves, we have no option but to deactivate your plugin and search for alternatives.

And how did you confirm that your issues are being caused by ATUM, please?
