Restaurants/bars take physical inventory counts to verify inventory levels. These counts are often taken monthly, but can be taken weekly, or even daily, and they are crucial to calculating the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). It would be very helpful if I could use ATUM to export inventory levels, as per a specific date (i.e. end of month, end of last month, last May, etc.). It would be even more helpful if I could sort my inventory by categories like protein, dairy, vegetables, etc.
As with most businesses, a restaurant's inventory comes in different packaging. Some items are counted by weight, some by case, and others by unit quantities.
The most important part for me is to be able to export historical inventory levels by category.
