I have a situation that I am trying to find a work around for using Multi Inventory and wondered if I could get some help figuring out the set up.
We have product A in two locations:
Inventory A is shipped straight from our supplier via drop shipping. This stock is not managed on woo, just labelled in stock and set to free shipping.
Inventory B is our actual physical stock that we have in our own warehouse. This stock is managed on Woo as we only have 2 in stock and it is set as collection only because we cannot ship it.
Both are the same price and the only difference for the customer is shipping options.
In woo we have click&collect and free shipping set up.
What I need is:
If a customer chooses click&collect at checkout, the stock number on Inventory B goes down.
If a customer chooses free delivery at checkout, the stock in taken from Inventory A.
Is this possible with Multi Inventory?
I have tried to set it up that a customer can choose shipping or click&collect within the product page by allowing them to choose between inventories, but this does not work as both shipping options still appear on checkout. IE a customer can add Inventory A to their basket but can still select click&collect at checkout.
