Hello
I'm a French student and I'm trying to understand your stock atum management tool in order to install it in a company as part of a project.
I need to put a bill of material for some products so I decided to test the Product level plug in demo. However I don't understand some of the functionality.
I've created a product "A" which uses 0.5 product "B" and 1 product "C" which are raw materials.
And a product "D" which uses 0,2 product "B" and 1 product "C"
So A = 0.5B+C and D = 0.2 B + C
I have a stock of 60 product B and 60 product C
I say that I have a stock of 20 product A and 20 product C
Then, in the Manufacturing window I see on the commited columns that I have 40 for product C and 14 for product B, so it seems good
But for the shortage column, I have -40 for C and -14 for B, but I normally have 60 and 60 in stock, so I should have 20 for C and 46 for B left...
I don't understand how the calculation of these columns works
I'm sorry for my very long and maybe not very clear question. I hope that you will understand and that you will be able to give me your expertise
Thank you
Clément
