Hello, upon testing the core plugin on our staging (no data) we decided to enable it on live site.
The site has a large (hundreds of thousands) of users, orders and subscriptions and has been going strong for years. We have optimised our servers and the site runs without issues.
Activating the plugin however, attempts to make the following query
UPDATE wp_postmeta SET meta_key = REPLACE(meta_key, '_default_settings', '')
WHERE post_id IN (
SELECT ID FROM wp_posts WHERE post_type = 'atum_supplier'
)
This query, takes ages (many minutes) to run on our tables (postmeta is over 33m records and 10gb) so we had to kill the query because other queries were queued behind it.
Surely there has to be a better way of enabling the plugin and running this query in a more streamlined way?
Also, have this plugin been tested / is used on large sites like ours, or should we look for alternatives?
Thanks in advance
