Hi neptuno
Have you tried to use our Geo Prompt feature? Go to Multi-inventory settings to enable it.
Best Regards,
Andrea.
AndreaRebel yes its enable, but we want to call under demand, what i mean, add an icon at the header, and when theuser click it, the popup show, now is only show when the user open the web
Please, read this documentation and let me know if it helps: https://forum.stockmanagementlabs.com/d/292-add-user-destination-widget-to-any-sidebar-on-your-site
I already read that, but we need to call under demand, with a click, not in a side bar
Wht we need is to show the geopromt clicking a button
Sorry, I don't know if I understand. GeoPrompt pop up is showed when you get into the website, or you can put it as a sidebar. If you want to make it work in another way maybe you can achieve this with custom development.
yes we already done, show always in aside bar is useless
As I told you, if you want to make it work differently you will need custom development, but as we don't offer this service you will need to hire a developer.
We sw that you use a cookie, but we only need is to know how we can call this, i mean, do you have some actcion to call the popup geopromt, if yes, where we can see this
We don't have actually any shortcode to show up the geoprompt but perhaps you could explore this options to develop what you want: You can add a hidden sidebar with the widget to your site (so it won't be shown when the page is loaded) and adding the widget content to any popup (Bootstrap Modal, SweetAlert2, etc) once it's opened when clicking the button.
I hope this helps.
Best Regards, Salva.
Great, thanks a lot!!
You're welcome,
we done the on demand geopromt following your recommendation, now, we need to show the value selected, How can we get the value selected in geopromt from cookie?
The cookie name is "atum_location". You can get the selected value from there.
Great, excellent job guys
Hi we sw that you save a json object in the cookie, is this correct?, we are having some issue to get the value for the region
Yes, it's an encoded JSON object. If you want to decode it to get the object with Javascript, you just have to do this function:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/decodeURIComponent
Thanks, everything is working now
Happy to know that now works 🙂
