Hello,
In Stock central I can see that you can filter for warehouse damage, Reserverd stock etc.
The question is how can I label a certain amount of stock as damage or reserved or lost etc.?
Looking forward hearing from you guys!
Hi @francois
These fields are Inventory Logs feature.
Just go the the left ATUM menu - Inventory Logs - Add new log - And there you can select the log type.
Here you have the documentation about inventory logs: https://forum.stockmanagementlabs.com/t/inventory-logs
Hope this helps,
Best Regards,
Andrea.
Dear Andrea,
Thanks for your reply. I have checked the inventory log documentation.
I don't see the reserved stock column appear in Stock Central after I have reserved an item.
Our latest version is: 179
If the column doesn't appear in Stock Central is because is not selected to appear. Go to Stock Central, and in the right top corner, click on 'Screen Options' - Look for 'Reserved Stock' field - Click apply.
Now the column should be displayed.
Thanks. got it. But now the second issue. When I have made an inventory log for reserved stock in pending mode, the shop stock stays the same. It doesn't deduct the amount reserved stock from the current stock.
Is this norma?
That's how Reserved Stock works. Just the Purchase Orders does work like this.
So If I reserve stock I need to manually deduct the current stock so that it cannot be ordered?
Dear @francois
Yes, should do it this way. Only Purchase Orders works like this. In Inventory logs, we don't know if the IL is for discounting or for adding .If you check the line items a few buttons appear.
thanks for your help.
Another question: is it possible to send PO directly to an email address from the PO system in woocommerce?
Hi francois
That functionality will be part of the Purchase Orders premium add-on that we are currently developing.
Best Regards, Salva.
Dear Salva,
Oke that would be very nice. Just like the function to be able to insert Purchase price in dollar regardless of the currency of the shop.
Indeed, that feature is planned too 😉
Hi Salva,
Hope you are doin well. It seems like the purchase orders are not added to the stock when I mark them as received. Does this has to do with new update that you are working on. Or should update WooCommerce or Wordpress to the latest version?
Looking forward hearing from you.
Yes please, note that we work with the last update of Woocommerce and Wordpress so you should update both in order to see if it's solved.
The problem is still there. When I updated the purchase order to received it doesn't update stock level.
Regards,
François Pierre
We've seen some users recently saying that the stock levels aren't changing after setting the PO to "Received" but we've tested this locally and seems working perfectly. So we aren't able to reproduce the issue and need to understand why is happening.
Please do read this: https://forum.stockmanagementlabs.com/d/2361-purchase-orders-can-t-add-to-stock/3
I will check again and let you know
It seems to work now.
Happy to know it works now 🙂
