BBE - Some questions!

Hi there!
Updating ATUM with BBEs, I have modified settings so expired products are moved to out of stock and unable to be purchased as the plugin allows.
But I have a few questions:
1) I sell edible food. I cannot sell it not only when it is expires....but must deactivate it for example 2 months before expiry. Where are the setting to indicate ATUM this time slot?
2) Once atum removes expired products...how are we notified? How does atum communicate us that the expiration has happened, so we can follow procedure to retire it from warehouse?

It's not actually possible to mark the inventory as "expired" before the BBE date. It's a functionality that we could implement in the future though. But at this time, if you want the inventory to expire 2 months before the BBE date, you should set the BBE date as the real expiration date instead.
ATUM does not send any notifications at this time. So if you need this kind of notifications, it would require custom development.

I appreciate the big effort and understanding of retailers needs you have made with ATUM.
And I also think these 2 suggestions I have made may be common to other users to, and a great addendum to the value you offer.
Tt would be awesome if your team could see the value and implement them!
In the meanwhile, how should I proceed to request quotation for the development of these 2 issues then?

We don't offer custom development at this time, so I'd suggest you try on any WordPress freelance platform.
