Hi
Can i please suggest a feature as follows:
If you have bought yourself 15 kg's of raw mince which costs you for example R 200
and you now cook that raw mince but you add additional products for example 1 kg carrots to the recipe which costs R 50, this whole batch now costs R 250.
But now after the batch is cooked and strained and is ready to be PORTIONED you weigh it and see it is now not 15 kg's mince + 1 kg of carrots which should be 16 kg's but is instead now only all in all only 10 kg's because of the PACK LOSS from the blood and the water weight in the mince and carrots.
Then this whole batch to be then be able to be portioned into the desired portion as for example 100 grams meaning you would get in total 100 portions from this batch.. this whole process is called "BULKING"
Would it be possible to integrate this into your already awesome inventory plugin whereby you can change your BULK RECIPE (the plugin should also calculate that the 15 kg's of mince plus the 1 kg of carrot would cost you R 250)
Once all this is "cooked" to turn into PORTIONS (which in woo-commerce terms is "PRODUCTS" and after this process is completed it will show you how much was your YIELD (i.o.w in this situation as mentioned above its no longer 16 kg but 10 kg after cooked so your yield would be 10 kg and your pack loss would be 6 kg)
And based on this method on-top of it costing R 250 for this recipe of 16 kg's of all the ingredients needed to create 1 portioned "product" it will calculate that after you portion the yielded amount to 100 portion, it will then calculate and mean that to "BREAK EVEN" your cost price per product will be R 250 divided by 100 portions = R 2.50 per portion / product, then you can enter your own selling price.
Once this has been completed it will fill up your stock level to 100 PORTIONS / "PRODUCTS" that will then be pushed to the store that can be be able to be sold and ordered by the customers?
I hope this is understandable but more than anything, doable.
Kind Regards
Richard
